KC...well, if you did well in high school and your parents have a little nest egg, you may be fortunate to attend Mizzou or Missouri State. However, due to the poverty on the Missouri side of KC, most kids will be fortunate to graduate from a community college or ITT Tech. Nothing at all wrong with that. Community schools, not all but a few, offer great educational value on a budget. Many graduates go on to be productive professionals.

Wow, you're on a roll, Killz!

Or you went to a private elementary school and then to Rockhurst ( ) and none if this applies to you.

ETA: although a lot of people at Rockhurst are from kansas or a KC suburb, there are some that live in KC proper.

Someone doesn't seem to realize all the big money in KC is in the plaza and brookside areas, not JoCO.

Thats a strange dynamic in K.C. with kansass and the Metro area. I have read a little but honestly don't know enough. Hopefully the state can do something to help stop the exodus into Johnson County.

Clearly STL dominates the state in respects to money and a strong middle to upper class.

Good ole Springfield (Missouri's Paradise) comes in strong at second place.

Followed by Columbia, Kirksville, Branson, Fort Leonard Wood, Rolla, Hannibal, Chillicothe, Warrensburg, Jeff City, Camdenton, Lebanon, Sullivan, Shelbina, Macon, Green City, Milan, Centralia, Booneville, Nixa, Ozark, Ten Mile, Lancaster, etc.

Kansas City, MO hits the list at number 237, up two spots from last year.

The plus side - KCMO is improving!
