CFP rankings are important for Missouri on a couple fronts:
1. How many SEC teams make New Year's 6 bowls? If only 3, that's one more team in the mix for SEC Pool of 6 bowls
2. Mizzou is more attractive for Pool of 6 bowls if it gets into CFP Top 25

I think a more realistic game would be Wisconsin vs Mizzou. Penn State is ranked 12, I'd think they'd get a higher up ranked team to match up against.
