The media asked Chism why he didn't do much in the game and he responded "I can't throw the ball to myself"

Both QBs should have said "well I can't block and throw the ball at the same time"

BS....that o-line was bad! Coach Drink said after the game that he didn't call for passes down field because of the o-line pass blocking. Dude hasn't played a real game in 3 years and his stats were really pretty good after the game.

No they weren’t. Two of our guys graded in the top 6 by PFF for the conference in week 1.

Strange how Bazelak wasn’t having the same issues huh?

Robinson has some talent but if he can’t vastly improve his pocket presence he’s going to continue to struggle. I will say he seemed to get better as the game went on though. He just needs to eliminate those big negative plays.

Can't argue with any of that. Not understanding the Robinson hate after 1 game, against BAMA, after 2 plus years of idle time.

Let's see how he does Saturday. Then we can judge.

I can find plenty of good in Saturdays team performance.

I was also pleasantly pleased with the play of our secondary most of the game.

Like everyone else, hoping we see some improvement on the O Line Saturday.

This is a winnable game

Really? 3rd down defense was terrible mainly because of this group. Drink seemed pretty pissed at this after the game.

Bunch of people jumping to conclusions based off of one game and that one game was against Bama. We might want to check ourselves, temporarily at least.

Coming from a Bazelak supporter.

Analyzing the play of an actual game is not jumping to conclusions. Despite the score, it was not a good performance at all. Bama clearly took pity the 2nd half. It should have been 70-10 type outcome had they wanted to do it.

Under no circumstances is it ok to be THAT bad. People should be discussing why it was that bad. It would be a terrible sign for the fanbase if they weren't critiquing a bad performance.

This is pretty much true. Another thing, I strongly believe this is NOT one of the heralded Alabama teams of the past. I think this is a team that'll struggle against anyone in the top 25.

I hope Bama is really really good this year but I agree it did not appear to be a typical Bama squad. The running game didn't show many signs of dominance but they may not have tried too hard given our inability to cover passes.

I think this Bama team will be one of the top three teams in the country.

You have a very good running back in Harris. A first rounder in Moses and also two WR first rounders. I don’t get how anyone thinks they won’t be a good team this year.

I think Bama is a top 5 team but I dont know if they will be a dominant team like some of the better Bama teams. Bama being down doesn't mean they won't still be elite.

This Alabama team is one of the two best in the country.

No one in the SEC is going to seriously challenge them barring some flukish type of game

I don't see anyone in the west doing it but I could see UGA and maybe a small chance UF could hang with them.

Expect a heavy dose of Tree. Drink even said in his postgame that he needs to feed him more. I expect the offense to look MUCH better this week with the running game opening up some downfield shots to Chism and Hazelton

Wasn't the OG a problem? They were MIA and that might be part of the reason and it is against Alabama. Now this should be a little bit easier to get it done. Not want to give way to what Drinkwitz wants to do normally against Alabama. This game is perfect for to run the ball more against a weaker team. Seems like a good plan and he gets his first win as a Missouri HC.

Are you saying Alabama isn't worthy as a number 2 rank because Missouri scored 19 points and Alabama scored 35? Why are you putting down on Drinkwitz? I am very impressed with Drinkwitz as a HC so far!

I thought Bama play called a pretty good game. Lot's of play action to deter our run D. I think they knew we could hold up pretty well in the run game, hence the passing attack early.

Both things can be true without putting down Drink.

Alabama might not be formidable as they once were. We definitely know they don't have the depth of the past.

Drink put up points in garbage time but it was critical for this team to put points up because he's a new coach, lack of practice time, and for the team to gain confidence. So yeah I'm definitely cool with it.

We are really weak on the LOS.

Found a good young QB. We have some good young talent. Rebuild

Tennessee is better than I thought for sure
