Kindly remove yourself from the Rant, Killz. Chiefs fans booed the kU marching band mercilessly last season. If anything, the Royals are a much more "beaker" crowd and the Chiefs are a more Mizzou crowd.

At least Mizzou fans make us smile. Thread is about St Louis with a slight tie-in of Mizzou, but it's solid smack talk!
Glad your pro sports are great but stick with basketball for any hint of collegiate big 3 sports titles.
Maybe if the Cardinals put some SEC guys on the team we can start being fans. You'll find a lot of us don't even have a MLB team to root for...

All I know is I've tried rooting for Braves, Ranger, and Astros. It just doesn't stick. If St Louis is SEC country, I should at least try following them.

These 2 are on our 40 man, but in the minors now.
Mitchell Boggs (Georgia) (Minors for sucking hard this year)
Adron Chambers (Mississippi State)
Michael Wacha came out of Texas aTm last year, and will burn through the minors it seems.
Adam Wainwright didn't go to college, but he's a big Georgia guy.

If you are going to rep the state of Missouri at least get your facts right. The Chiefs are OK and
never forget the great Bob Pettit scored 50 points playing against Bill Russell when the Hawks won their first NBA Championship.

Okay, okay, okay...you win. I'll allow the Chiefs and Hawks titles because they further prove that Missouri is a championship state.
I just love being from a state that swims in a pool of championships and downs titles like a 12 pack of beer.

Well, we better add them to the list. Don't want to discriminate against high schoolers. If they win a title, they contribute to the legendary athletic tradition of the great state of Champtopia (ie. Missouri).
