Mike Leach vs Drinkwitz should a shootout.

49-41 - Miz

I haven't followed a Mike Leach coached team since his Texas Tech days. Has he changed much?

This year is a success, now we're into the bonus round. Hope they're up for it after Georgia.

But dang we've got a coaching situation to feel good about. Some ESPNU hosts holding Mizzou up as the right way to hire a coach. IE find someone that fits the program and what you want to do, as opposed to a lot of flash that wins the press conferance.

This is where UGA could beat us twice. Hard to say how we come out vs MSU.

Not to mention, MSU has a QB with a pulse so our D will likely struggle mightily.

We steal the defensive game plan that Barry Odom did against them and rush 2-3 players.

MU 24
MSU 10

MSU 49
Mizz 28

I had us with 0-1 win season and they have already exceeded that.

I really think it depends on who shows up on D. Missing a lot of players really hurt. Not sure who will be back for this game. Could be a shootout.

That isn't working as much anymore. Their QB play is better now.

they still only get about 30 yards rushing per game.

Just based on mutual opponents - their best game was probably the 7 point loss against Georgia.

Correct, but like the stretch Florida had this year, UGA was not playing well when they played State.

In a perfect world I think this is the answer. Part of me worries Ryan W. will maintain his man principles and we get beat with Leach’s crossing/man beating routes.

Georgia tried to install zone the week of but you saw they were exposed in both zone and man concepts against MSU.

I still see us winning 30-10 but it gets a little worrisome if MSU scores two first half TD’s. They have a tough defense and working to score can get difficult if they are in the game.

They scored 10 points last week.

I’ll say Mizzou 27-17

Mississippi State man beater concepts are killing us. I’m surprised Ryan is playing this much man when we know what causes the trouble.

That was a hard game to watch on all levels.

Special teams - that touchdown from the fumble killed any momentum we could have had early.

QB play - Bazelak's worst game right?

Defense - lets see how many crossing routes they can get before they adjust. Oh wait, we didn't.

I get it, we have less scholarship players and a back up qb playing safety. We're also playing a team that's won 2 games...
