That is about the only thing Haith has done right so far. Look at Ratliffe, English, Denmon, Dixon, Jabari Brown, Oriahki, Rosburg, Torren Jones, just to name a few.

Not sure if being serious. I'd hardly say Haith had anything to do with developing English or Denmon. They were who they were by the time Haith got here. Much the same can be said of Ratliffe and Oriakhi. In fact, I think Oriakhi's numbers weren't much different or less than his sophomore year numbers. Rosburg??? Well I suppose he has developed, but I'm not sure into what. I'm also not sure how much of it is just the natural result of maturity. It's not like the kid went from 1 ppg to 15 ppg under Haith. He's gone from 1 ppg to 4 ppg. Torren Jones? He's just a freshman. The book is out on whether or not Haith can develop him into a player. Personally, I think Haith has done a poor job with Jones this year by not getting him more time earlier on but regardless, there's no way Haith gets a pat on the back yet on Jones. Ask me again in 3 years and an answer can be given.

I do agree about the pitfalls of transfers. I understood the need the first year to use transfers because the classes were so unbalanced, but there's no need to continue doing so.

As to Alden, like everyone, I think he has his strengths and his weaknesses. The AD certainly has grown under his watch and the move to the SEC was under his watch. I don't think he gets total credit for those things but he does get some credit because they happened under his watch.

I think he has fixated on football and I get why. Football is the driving force. But he's going to have to learn to multi-task. The other sports need A LOT of attention and the sooner the better. Haith will get another year or two to turn things around but if he doesn't Alden is going to not just "settle" with the next hire. He has to get the non-revenue sports up to speed. The facilities for most of them are a joke. The promotion and creating interest in them is even worse than a joke. There is no excuse that Missouri has one of the greatest softball programs in the country and I have to tune into the A&M feed to listen to the game online or even watch fricking stat tracker.

With our journalism school I really can not understand why Mizzou doesn't have a kick arse media department.

Boggles my mind ST. Maybe I'm just naive but I would have thought if anyone not only had coverage of all their teams, but quality coverage, it would have been Mizzou.

It is hard to take your posts seriously because you keep posting stuff like this.

Go back and look at the numbers and film, please.

Everything he said was totally rational. I don't want to completely discount Kimmy and Marcus, but Phil Pressey wasn't developed a lick by that staff. Not one lick. Neither was Bowers. Nor was Clarkson. If Clarkson was developed by this staff, he'd be better at the end of the year. Not worse. I might give a portion of Brown's development to them. Rosburg? C'mon. And the abysmal misuse of Post and Jones this year is inexcusable. Unless Jones hit on his wife.

Clarkson benefited from no teams having a 'book' on him, and he dominated against lower competition early in the season.

I don't blame the staff for his decline as the season went on, most of it had to do with the way teams adjusted to his play.

Pressey was uncoachable at Mizzou.

*Stating these opinions does not mean I support this staff or think they've done a good job.

Not a big enough deal for me to go look them all up. I was curious about Oriakhi and Rosburg and had looked at them. Oriakhi averaged a couple points more per game as a senior than he did as a sophomore but his rebounds per game were less his senior year than they were his sophomore year. Not sure what Haith gets credit for "developing" there. Like I said, Rosburg has gone from contributing nothing to contributing next to nothing (and I'm actually a Rosburg fan as a role player coming off the bench ideally). Not sure what there is to give credit for "developing" there either.
