Still 2.5 or 3.

I've read he's going to start UCF recruiting right away and watch some of their practices.

Also seen early reports he's still coaching Mizzou in Texas bowl.

Confirm or Deny?

Can he do both?

Also curious how many of our recruits he offers.

He's hit the ground running. Curious what his coaching staff ends up looking like... Shannon was a great grab.

Not many Mizzou recruits will turn down an SEC offer for an AAC offer.

Huepel’s recruiting has mostly been limited to QB’s, which Mizzou doesn’t have.

This is what I heard on the radio yesterday.

My 40 years experience in the business world taught me many things, but 1 that’s true and has never failed is...when someone turns their time in, go ahead and let them go...they’ve already quit! Nothing good can come of keeping them on staff.

I believe this applies to JH too. We appreciate everything he’s done, and congratulate him on his new role with UCF. Now, let him move on to Orlando.

Agreed. The best case scenario is he helps win a close one in a game we would like to win but in the grand scheme of things not all that important. everything else is downside.

Disagree Bluegrass.....I just can't envision JH not giving it his all......egos are both powerful and good.

I just don’t think he’s going to be fully vested in being Missouri’s OC for the next 3 weeks or so. Too many things he needs to do at UCF....staff...recruiting..existing.players....I don’t think he can do both well. (Or hardly at all for that matter)

Besides, if you have somebody internally that you are thinking about promoting, might be a good time to see what they can do with the offense over the next 3 weeks. Might answer some questions for BO on what he needs to do.

We'll just have to agree to disagree......I'm 100% convinced that JH gives 100% in everything he does.

You could be very right. He might just do that. He’ll have a lot on his plate, and to make Missouri’s bowl game a priority seems like a stretch to me.

Heupel was a good OC and has helped Lock improve. He will not have a Drew Lock on his UCF team.

It will be hard for him to duplicate what has been accomplished at UCF. It would have better for him to take over a team that was not ranked in the top 25 most of the year with 10 plus wins.

UCF has an awesome QB, that’s only a sophomore. And returns much of an offense that led the nation is scoring.
