Not a great scoring offense he had, not saying that’s everything but expected better I guess

His starting QB went down for 4 games this year, cut into the passing numbers. Considered a young coach on the rise.

I was going to say it appears that all their lowest scoring games came when their backup undersized sophomore QB had to start his first games due to the starter's injury. I like the hire without knowing anything about their offense. We've got a pretty young coaching staff

This reminds me a lot of the Baker hire.

Also has a good football IQ family, his brother is Kellen Moore, OC for the Cowboys.

Would love to have his 2 freshman OTs. Gotta watch the portal.

maybe get them, but not sure I'd count on them being SEC players next season.

New #Mizzou OC Kirby Moore was named the best recruiter I'm the MWC by 247sports in 2019 and was featured on their "top 30 under 30" list twice in a row for the job he's done at Fresno State both recruiting and coaching.

Having an OC makes me happier than not having one. Is he established enough that we know he will have the keys to the offense? No puppet strings?
Is he anything of a QB whisperer?
Good news.

Sawyer Robertson from Mississippi State just entered the portal. He fits with Kirby Moores offense.

Not when Miami fans were saying it was a bad hire. I guess Miami fans didn't think he could turn Mizzou defense around. Plus, he was at LSU for one year and I think that made a huge impact on his overall understanding of playing defense at places like LSU. That seems to help with feeling more comfortable to be a DC again.
