Well, I mean all teams shite the bed once in awhile. I agree we need to cut down, but you won’t ever completely eliminate poor performances.

This team is pretty good, talent wise. It’s mostly his guys playing at this point. He’s shown a good ability to identify and develop guys which we absolutely need in a coach. His teams are also physical, play hard and have had opportunities to fold but never have. I also like the philosophy that he wanted on offense when he hired Dooley. I think he gets it and has a good grasp on what needs to be done. There are several good qualities here.

He’s learning though.

I think it’s pretty obvious his teams have gotten better every year. That should earn a coach some extra rope. Next year will be a big test with what we have to replace.

Yeah, I get all teams struggle. Good teams find a way to win despite struggling. Look at UGA against us. Some day hopefully we get there. Just have to cut down the number of times we shite the bed and against who we are doing it.

Did you know that OC Dooley is in his first ever as OC? That was a tall order! Give Missouri time to build a foundation on offense and defense.

I didn't know that. I wish someone would have posted that earlier.

You do acknowledge that BO has now had nearly 3 years to build a foundation right? You do acknowledge that I didn't say to fire BO today, right? You do acknowledge that most people, after the UF win, have said BO deserves more time...at this point, right?

I don't see it as being bold at all. What Odom is consistent at is being inconsistent. He just came off the best win of his HC career. I give him major kudos for that, it was a complete game win. I hope he does win out, I want to eat crow. I just don't have much confidence in this coaching staff, and for good reason.

Many on the SEC Rant were laughing at the Dooley hired when it was announced last year.

Dooley has done some laughable things. Hopefully he's learning.

Most do not believe that the SEC is a place for on the job learning, but MU has chosen to go that route. So be it. Hopefully the Florida game is an indicator, not an outlier.

Yes. I did not agreed to the hiring of first timer but with the situation at Missouri that turned away many coaches. That brought in Barry Odom. Missouri had to ride it out and play wait and see and so far it is slowly turning the corner. The Kentucky game really hit Missouri big time because of the ref gave the game to Kentucky. That hit the fans hard and possible turned away some top recruits. That hurt Missouri big time. Now people should see that Kentucky is overrated. Needed the ref's help and Barry Odom's bone head calls and some players bad decisions that hurt the team. But even with all that Missouri was still winning until needed the ref to give Kentucky another play to win it.
