Smells like there was a discipline issue. Usually kids go straight into the portal. Neither are talking.

If so, Drink has shown he has a zero tolerance policy for BS..

This is good news, IMO. Having a slot WR who can only take handoffs was really limiting. We need a true WR in that spot.

New reality of CFB. Coach changes, players transfer. Drink will get his players on line faster.

Now that’s the first actual loss.

Knox was going to be a fun weapon for Drink to work with at full health.

Sounds like he may have done some shady shite.

Yea but quality depth at WR is something we’ve longed missed and bad hands or not, his speed was a threat.

Caveat to this is that Cooper can obviously do his job better with more electric sizzle and a more rounded game.

I think ware is a bigger loss. Knox was good, but we have cooper to help soften the blow

They were Odom's players and they are creating problems because they were not doing things the right way. Drinkwitz will be happy to get other players into the roster that will get to do things the right way. Maybe the new DC is saying this is crappy! That might be true since we need change now to get things fix and make a smoother transition to success.

Knox played really hard and good luck to him.

I agree... We have lacked depth at WR in the past - he was the most talented of the old group for sure.

With that being said, I think our WR room has vastly improved over this last year. Cooper and Lovett should hopefully provide some consistent targets.

Does anyone have any word on JJ Hester? I was always impressed by his HS tape

Still don't see him in the portal. Anybody heard anything about this being about disciplinary action?
