But I am 100% wholeheartedly rooting against Mizzou hoops. I want them to lose.

My biggest fear here is that the team actually manages to be just mediocre enough that the people around it don’t want to pony up the buyout money. Kim has a big year and gets a job we can’t pull him away from while we are just riding out the remainder of Cuonzo’s contract. That’s the worst case scenario and unfortunately a distinct possibility. It can’t just be bad. It’s got to be terrible. It has to be so bad that the admin is simply forced to make the obvious and correct move. The wheels need to stay off, they’ve already fallen off.

Normally I just wouldn’t be able to do this because Id have some sort of attachment to the players but Clownzo was generous enough to run off all the guys he recruited in favor of a bunch of kid major transfers who I don’t care about. Sorry Kobe, but this is also in your best interest. Trust me.

I can't root against Mizzou, but this was an honest post and I respect that.

I will continue to root for mizzou because they just arent good enough this year to bring martin back next year. They'll go under .500 with or without you pulling for them.

I (like most on here) am a Mizzou loyalist. Don’t know if I can bare to watch this shell of a team. Was considering Braggin Rights tickets… not anymore.

Also great point about the players. Minus Kobe and Pickett I’m indifferent what happens to the rest.

All this to say, really pulling for the football team to break .500 and play in a mediocre bowl game. Would be the highlight of my Mizzou fandom for the year.

You might as well root for them. It doesn’t change the outcome of the games. And it doesn’t change what the AD is going to do.

NEVER do this.

Let them take care of the losing themselves, and choose to watch other stuff.

I am a Buccaneer fan of 40 years, and i Loathe Brady, and refused to follow last year or this, but i NEVER rooted for them to lose.

Wanted Coaches fired in St.Louis pro sports, but NEVER rooted for them to lose, they will take care of that part themselves.

I was wrong. I watched part of this game. I wasn’t actively rooting for them to lose, but Insure hope they do
