But UT has big problems that has vexed 4 coaches since Fulmer was fired. FAU seems to have taught him to be a coach instead of a distraction. I like his offensive schemes at Bama. He didnt get lazy and just depend on their talent. With Kiffin we get a coach with offensive plans that exploit the defense, more exposure because his name is a brand. Recruiting I have to believe has a chance to be better, and a name that fans and boosters recognize.

How come he did not get a better gig? Also look at Scott Frost at Nebraska!

We won’t get Kiffin anyway. He might get the Arkansas job.

He would be a great hire though

Scott Frost was a 2 year head coach that won with the previous coaches recruits. He was the hot name, but had no qualifications, as you see with his team and recruiting at NU.

I actually think Fiskell is our realistic target but I would prefer Kiffin.

No, none at all. He would be a ho hum hire, but he has done well at Cincinnati.

I wouldn’t be set against it but it wouldn’t get anybody particularly excited either

I’m not sure how much of a difference that makes. We’ll always be at a huge recruiting advantage. I do think Kiffin would recruit very well though, relatively speaking.

We have to play smart football with a completely bought in effort. That’s how we’ll win.

We can be better talent wise then we are now though. We’ve got several just flat out bad units.

I am not trusting his behavior. He is not someone I would trust at Missouri. Get someone else like one that have shown worthy of building the football program and not jump at first opportunity for better gig. That is not what I would want at Missouri.

Kiffin had the #1 ranked team at the start of the 2012 season and two deep with more talent than he would ever have at Missouri. He got fired the last weekend of September in 2013 after going 4-7 in his last 11 games.

Don't want him.

I'd be willing to bet he is happier making a million in Boca than he would be making 3 million in Columbia or Fayetteville.

I am not sure might go with offensive minded coach or someone who is at a big time program that is a coordinator on defense or offense. might go that route. If cannot get anyone better than Odom. I mean someone that is much better and can compete with recruiting better players. I have no idea who those coaches are that will fit nicely in Missouri. It is up to the AD to find one since Arky is also looking for one too!

Do not forget BO had to replace the OC, OL coach, and TE coach. Got to find someone that can keep the assistants for longer period of time to build the program.
