Is this coaching hire a failure if we don't get Herman?

Fuente...gone
Campbell...gone

Lot's of Rhule talk. To me he would of been option #4 I think him and Campbell are close. I prefer Campbell.

Not at all.

Herman's the hot name. Not sure that translates into success any more than anything else.

No, it's a failure of the new coach doesn't win.

We won't know if it was a success or failure for a few years.

stop making sense....I'm talking about how it would look today.

I mean we could hire a 1a High School coach and he could win a National Championship in 2 years.

But people would lose their minds the day of the announcement.

Me included.

I think that's a horse of a different color, though. Or, IOW, a Kim Anderson hire.

There's "reach" hires that turn out well. There's "hot" hires that turn out poorly. And there's a host of types in between. If we pull a reach hire, I will mark it down as a failure until the proof to the contrary is made.

I liked out chances with Herman until the UGA job opened up.
