so far in the SEC? Pretty much ever since we joined on July 1, 2012 things have been downhill from there. Last night IMO was the first time something happened that we could hang our hats on

To say it has been all downhill since we joined might be a bit of an overstatement. But yes, I'd say this is a high point.

I'd say it's been the highest point so far. Was pretty proud of the ladies getting pitcher and player of the week honors in softball too. I just don't rank that quite as high as last night because it wasn't against an SEC opponent.

Yes, I agree it has been high point, to date, in the SEC. We also avoided the "snake bite" that we come to expect. Our fans were loud, but classy, and did not rush the court after the game! Great evening for the Tigers who hung tough and did not give up.

I don't think I can honestly say it's a high point, even so far. JMO. I put high points in the perspective of looking back after the inaugural season is over and we start our second season. So far, we haven't finished our first total season in the conference yet. There may be other things that over shadow last nights win that has not transpired yet. Who knows, maybe we win the SEC tourny? Maybe we go deep into the big dance? Who knows?

Also being competitive by nature, you want to look at wins like last night like you expect to win those games. I expect Mizzou to win every game they play in. I'm sure the players look at it this way also. I look at erasing three 10 point deficits for a win more like a turn of the corner for the team also. To me thats paramount. I think they had a true taste last night of what it's going to take to play for a NC.

Sorry about the long drawn out post, but I kind of look at high points before the first years over yet like counting your chickens before they hatch.

Jafo, I'm all for having more highs that beat this high. One of the most encouraging thing I saw last night were the 2 teams coming out of the last time out. Just a brief glimpse of both. The Mizzou 5 were pulling each other together and the body language said "We are NOT letting this one get away from us". A quick flash to the Florida players coming out of the timeout showed what you see most times, just kind of hands in and break out walking onto the Court.

Semo, get the drinks lined up cuz I'm gonna say it a bunch here. I really think there have been lots of signs of this team coming together and gelling. It's been a step by step process but seeing the body language of the two teams made think, aha, there's one more sign of this team coming together. Collectively as a group, they were NOT going to lose that game. Enough of my sappy shite, give me a shot.

We have won two titles. We are SEC champions in Men's 1M diving and Women's 1M diving.
