In your opinion, how many wins does KA need next season to keep his job?

I say 16 at the very least because I think that's where we are right now as a program.

20, and IMO that's not enough if he doesn't make the tournament. My expectation was always to make the tournament in year 3, it should be something fairly easy to accomplish with a half way competent coach. I'm not going to lower my expectations just because KA has massively underachieved.

Depends on what the schedule is.
I think the noncon schedule will be easy. It should be set up to get Mizzou to 10-12 wins.
A realistic jump in SEC play would be 6 wins. It's extremely rare to make a bigger jump than that.

I don't know if it is necessarily a number of wins, but the team needs to feel like it is, without any doubt to anyone, drastically improved.

If they are doing the same shite...insanely bad stretches during a game, getting blown out by lower level conference teams, etc

He would have to go at that point.

2 Conf wins - fired
3 Conf wins - 50/50
4 Conf wins - stays
5+ Conf wins - ideal

Based on my expectations of MU wanting to give him 4 years.

If they soften the schedule then 10-12 wins isn't sufficient in the non-con. We won 8 this year. Softer schedule to get to 10 would mean no improvement necessarily. Possibly, but not necessarily.

Bottom line. Make the frickin' tourney or be done. I don't care what the record is. Make post season.

CBI is almost exclusively a MM tournament. In the last 2 years 1 P5 school played in it.

The over .500 is the key here

NIT will pacify me. NCAA will excite me and make me a believer and maybe even buy tickets again
