So, we hired a coach without proper experience for the job. I agree. Didn’t like the hire from day one. He had one year of P5 coordinator experience and was totally unprepared to take ovef as a head coach in SEC. How does that earn him more time than anybody else? Two wrongs don’t make a right. Let’s not continue to compound this mistake and dig the program even further into the ground.

So the rest of the year Missouri offense is going to suck? I do not think so. That is why I said win 7 or 8 games Barry Odom will be back.

No way they are 8-4. should go 7-5 but I fear 6-6 and Barry is still back. Attendance will drop and next year will be a disaster. Lots of talent leaving. Everyone bashing Lock. Wait until he is gone. It will be way worse unless there is some absolute miracle grad transfer at QB. It will be a tough climb back out from 2019 season with current trajectory.

If next year will be bad then why would AD allow that? That is my point! If AD sees 7-5 again or 8-4 next year then keep Barry Odom. He will not keep him if Barry cannot win 7 or 8 games next year with some key players gone.

The current players at DE and DB improve and the pass defense improves. It’s just as likely as the scenario you presented

We’re gonna lose a lot at DT and LB. The DEs and DBs could really improve and the unit could get worse or remain the same.

The offense isn’t going to improve. Derek Dooley is running it.

If we go 5-7, I still think Odom will be back. There’s really no difference between us going 5-7 and going 6-7.

Might as well let him play out the string.

Mizzou fans and their tolerance for mediocrity. If my memory is correct Pinkel won 2 division titles in the B12 and got smoked in the conference championship. He won 2 in the SEC and was smoked in the conference championship. Yes, Auburn smoked us. No moral victories.

Pinkel brought us back from the depths of doom to mediocrity and we worship him. I like to thank him for helping us up to our feet. That's all! As he left Mizzou Pinkel said that we need a coach that would take us to that next level.

As long as Mizzou fans keep accepting mediocrity that's what we will keep getting. I know....I'm out of my mind!

Odom loses 3 of 4 he will be fired.

There's no way Sterk can sell a 5 win season with 18 returning starters and an NFL QB.

That just screams dumpster fire for next year.

So you think Dooley is gonna be bad next year? I disagree. You have your opinion and I have mine. Wait until the season is over and see how the offense goes the rest of the season. I think next year will get to regroup and make changes and so forth. Not enough time to do that for Dooley in his first ever as OC and in the SEC. Give another year and should improve. But AD will not go take Odom back if he knows the OC will be bad next year. That is what the off season will be discuss between the head coach and AD to see where things are going. How to improve offense for next year and so forth. No way Dooley is back if he continue to suck to the end of this year.

We literally do not have a QB for next year. You realize that right?

I’m pretty confident that Elliot, Whiteside and Byers will be solid at DT next season. All 3 are getting lots of snaps this season.

Against Alabama Bolton was solid as a replacement for Hall. He wasn’t as good, but with an offseason of development he will be ready to play. Maybe he will be better in pass coverage, doubt he’s as good against the run.

Mizzou's pass defense has slowly gotten worse year by year.

It's admirable some of you are holding out hope that Walters somehow figures out how to become a DC by next year.

Odom will be gone this time next year.

I can guarantee you Odom hopes that’s not the floor for his return.

Wilson and Powell are not going to ever start for the Tigers. Bazelak will be a true freshman.

That leaves a possible graduate transfer with no experience in the offense or with the receivers.

Literally no QB.

If either of these sacrificial lambs start next year, it will equal the worst Mizzou season of my adult life.

If you take that approach then no team would ever improve.

Every team loses starters and every time the back up is the back up for a reason.

That’s a fools exercise

That’s not what literal means and if Mizzou doesn’t land Bryant then either Powell or Wilson will absolutely be starting.

What in the world are you on about?

If you are saying Missouri will be bad next year. Then the AD will see that too! Why give him another year, if he sees the same thing you are seeing for next year?
