Howard Richards on Ahmad Hardy Today

I caught the tail end of the hour he does Friday from 10-11 on 550 KTRS with Frank Cusumano and Jill Farmer.

The question was asked about what the timetable looks like for Ahmad Hardy's return and Richards says there's a good chance he doesn't return. He said besides the flesh wound in the arse, the gunshot caused a spiral fracture of the femur. A rod had to be inserted and it's altered his gate and he's currently walking with a hitch in his stride.

Then he was asked if the season is completely lost did he think he would come back? Richards said he thinks Hardy would have been a 1st-3rd round NFL draft pick pre-injury and believes he could get drafted even if he doesn't play at all this season.

If he's still hobbling around I don't see it, but who knows? Just passing it along.
