Very cool. I've yet to have a wine from Caymus that I didn't love. Great stuff there.

I"ll have to look for Chandler HIll. I always like trying new wines.

When they have live music, what genre is played?

Definitely differs but majority is probably classic rock - country rock.

I think they post their music lineup on their website, but I'm not sure. They'll get like the Soulard Blues Band, and bluegrassy bands.... so it differs.

I checked out the website. Definitely going to have to check this place out. Thanks!

Unfortunately, they apparently don't distribute in Columbia though.

Weston...isn't that where Snow Creek Ski Resort is? Very pretty countryside around Weston.

However, Weston doesn't even come close to the awesomeness of Hermann, Augusta, or Defiance.

IFFF the river remained where it was, then it would be no comparison, Augusta would be so much different today.

Lil fact for you all -- The Augusta Appalachia is the first designated wine district in 'Merica. This is on the Sommelier test, most put down Napa.

For you around STL I'd suggest a new winery, Chandler Hill (Defiance). It's about 20 mins closer than coming to Augusta, and it's really nice, always good live music.

but it didn't so Hermann is better.
I have done the Augusta swing of the MO wine trail and it is awesome as well.
I would put the best of Hermann wines up against any others in MO and fell pretty damn good about it. As someone in the industry you already know that.
The best part about all that is we are talking about wines from MO being that damn good and that benefits all of us in the state so
