..points will SC score vr our D? They have a pretty vanilla O but our D?? is flat out ugly and when considering our O will not be going against a Delaware or Mo State I can guarantee we will not put up 70. Will 30 to 40 be enough for a W assuming that is realistc vr a legit D?

Also, what will UConn put up? They put up over 30 on Holy Cross.

Will be very interested in seeing how how Perdue looks tonight vr Louisville. I dont even want to ponder Idaho when contemplating what we will come out of with our perceived gimmes on our NonConf schedule. Anything less than 3 out of 4 can pretty much kiss a very mediocre 6 win season goodbye. If we end up going even 5&7 and still go to some BS bowl and that gives Sterk an out to keep BO around to waste another recruiting cycle past the current, which is pretty much already cast I will really lose it.

You "lost it" a long time ago, but Sterk won't keep Odom with a losing season. Just won't happen.

To answer your question though, something in the 40s.

I am hoping that the defense mentally played down because it was MSU. I'm hoping for better front 7 play next week.

Well the entire off season has been riddled with hope & wishful best case scenarios. Keep your protective cup on.

USCjrs defense isn't doing much. I expect track meet every week this season, bring your stop watches.

The problem I see against better teams with this defense is that the offense will start to press, knowing they have to score every damn possession.

That's not gonna end well.

They had better run the ball a hell of a lot and rethink this tempo offense.

That may be true for many games but adjust your cup if you are thinking our sprinters will be as fast when not running against still air. The Auburns, Floridas, Georgias etal promise to provide a night and day difference in providing legitimate resistance.

Heavy, heavy dose of 16.

That's our best chance to do anything. The defense can't suck out loud on the sideline.

Florida doesn't have an offense. We'll see about UGA, Auburn is going to be rough.

USC, Vandy, UK, and Tenn are winnable with any kind of defense showing up.

Only against the shite teams. We would have scored 1/3 the points, if that, against a legit defense. Doubt many of those screens go for 6 against UF or UGA.

As crazy as this sounds, I still think we win next week.... I just saw NC State put up 400+ yards through the air on their defense...

The Perdue/Louisville game starting. Normally would not have an interest to sit thru this game but I think my curiosity will carry me all the way. I am sure Lou will score big but more interested in seeing how Perdue's offense may match up to our swiss cheese D. If they get 20 or more our perceived cupcake win becomes a coin flip at best.
