Thank the lord!! This is exactly what we needed... If SEMO drew the largest crowd of the season at 6:00 on family weekend, then this must surely be a near sellout... right?

Why not both ? I can't do the latter because I'm in the mid-atlantic. What's the point of remaining in the SEC if you can't fill up a venue against a conference rival, much less against a respectable program like Ole Miss.

Because pissing and moaning about what other people are doing with their disposable income, regardless of conference affiliation, is stupid.

7 points off a muffed punt and 21 against the backups. OM gave up 31 in the second quarter alone.

Bama's D isnt like a normal Bama D. Not saying its not good, its just not elite, right now.

What teams are doing to Bama's backups in the second half is irrelevant because they are up by 4 TDs and playing two deep zone to keep the clock rolling. They are begging teams to run the ball.

I dont watch Alabama enough to know. im just going off of what their fans have been saying, which is that their defense hasn't been good enough yet, largely due to injuries. I'll take what bama fans have been saying. It may not be that the defense is letting up points, more than teams are able to move the ball well. I think what the bama fans are worried about is that they havent played any good teams, and that the better teams will be able to capitalize with points.

Alabama is averaging 6 points allowed in the first half through 5 games They are scoring 28. If Bama fans want to get twisted about the backups giving up some garbage yds, they can have at it.

Bama’s two deep is 4/5*. Hell, 81% of their roster is 4/5*

They still have the 8th defense in the country according to SP+. Mizzou is #7 btw, which is the best ranking of any SEC team.

So Bama’s defensive struggles are likely greatly overstated

The only thing Bama's defense is struggling to do is stay awake as their offense hangs half a hundred on the other team.

Bamas defense did not contain SC and it wasn’t the backups
