Too busy watching Solich and his fighting Bobcats scare the shite out of Butch's Band of 5* Rapists.

Solich is a good coach. Nebraska made a mistake firing him.

He's a much better coach than Butch, especially on game day.

Swap rosters and Solich would be up by 28. Butch's offensive line coach has done nothing with the 4* rated guys they have brought in.

Definitely. Butch is a great recruiter, can't deny that. But they underperform their talent every year.

Butch is gonna get himself fired by winning badly. I actually dont dislike him but I hate how every year the media assumes they will be a great team.

I have to admit, I can't stand him. I don't like his recruiting practices, I hate seeing kids treated the way he does. He's a good recruiter - but so many grayshirts. I also think he's a poor game day coach. He's good at all the hype - but that's about it. All show, no go. In a football coach, give me substance over style any day.

Can't stand him either. This may be his last season in knoxville. They look like they are falling apart.

If this happens, let's hope TN continues their streak of coach hiring. A good coach there could really build something. We don't need that.

+1000. He's a huckster and a used car salesman.

I hear him speak and then hear Barry Odom speak, and it's so clear who has the quality man.

Hopefully the facility upgrades come so wiBO can compete on a more level playing field.

Bit he was well regarded at Cincinnati. I think its underestimated how tough it is coaching guys who are highly rated out of HS. I dont think they work as hard because they have always been physically gifted. Saban and Meyer make it look easy, but UGA, A&M, Texas, LSU, Notre Dame, Penn State all get highly rated players yet struggle to play at high level as a team. Just my opinion.
