O ya, let me clarify Im not a fan of it.

I wonder if walters is still around because it seems hes always been very close to the players. Only thing I can think of.

I wonder if he is still around due to the fact that he may be the little bitch, ego stroking puppy dog that BO needs to surround himself in order to protect his fragile super ego(Freudian). This would also be a factor in why BO cannot/will not obtain/retain solid strong asst coaches?????

Walters and Dooley both signed 3 year deals prior to this season.
Walters defensive game plans have been pretty good. You can see that once the defense has either better talent or more experience that it will improve. A defense that has to blitz to get to the QB consistently isn’t really a recipe to a dominant defense.

The double A Gap blitz out of the time out on Kentucky's final possession was a bad call. Show what ever you want pre-snap, but quarters coverage was the play on that. Force the play to the middle and get the WR on the ground in bounds.

That call was worse IMO than putting the ball in Locks hands on 3 and 2.

Alabama, Georgia, Memphis and Purdue were all top 10 in S&P+ offensive rankings last I looked.

Of course they are, they have all, played our shite storm of a defensive backfield. Listen we are not super talented by any means and I can live with getting out Jimmd' but the Mizzou DB's are constantly out of position, especially the safetys.

I don’t think Walters has a 3 yr deal.

Agree about the last possession on defense. Odom has come out and said it was a mistake on the play with 11 seconds to play.
