And people have memories like gold fish.

The stuff that happened in Ferguson will be gone from the memory bank in no time.

It's the yearly 'top crime lists' that circle the internet that F StL.

I believe we're the only city that doesn't take the surrounding suburbs into the data.

Nope. I've been a Niners fan since I was a kid (mid 80s).

For whatever it's worth, radio is reporting that Kroenke isn't even returning Peacock's calls now. They gone.

Beats the hell out of the first one, but ain't gonna happen. Noticed the tailgating areas around the stadium too.

Not so fast, my friend. It's not going to be that easy.

Frank Cusumano interviewed one of the guys that helped the Rams move here from LA. He apparently specializes in franchise relocations, stadium deals, etc. and he said the league isn't going to let Stan go if the Rams came hard to the hole with a legitimate proposal. He's actually one of the few people who has an encyclopedic legal understanding of the relocation rules, how and why they were installed, and how the league would enforce them.

This is really a MUST listen for anyone interested in the Rams staying. Pure gold. LINK

Its far from over reedus. If the funding and financing is sound I will be surprised if they move. Thats the question however, if the financing gets bogged down then that gives Toupee Stan an ironclad "out"

Why would Stan stay?

What happens if he just say I'm moving?

ETA - I will have to listen to that tonight MIZ SEC.

That looks like a very nice stadium, but then take a look at the renderings for the LA stadium. It doesn't compare.

Sleepy Zombie, I was talking about the decline of the city proper and older sections of the county. The rest of the county and outlying areas will always be just fine.

Are the older neighborhoods seeing the influx of hipsters and such like San Diego is? There are neighborhoods here that were dumpy 7-10 years ago that are completely revitalized with an influx of local business and young money.

Nope. Was a Cardinals football fan when I was a little one. After they left became a Chiefs fan, and have been since.

Our local Fox affiliate don't even show RAMS games for the NFC games, they pick the Cowboys or some other team. This just starting happening last season, continued into this season.

CBS affiliate still home of the Chiefs though.

What will the Dome be used for?? State Championship games?? Reminds me of ATL wanting a new stadium. Is the Dame in STL that bad??

They were talking about re-doing it to allow for more conventions or something. Maybe to make it a better venue for different college post season tournaments.

One of the original selling points was that it would be used for conventions and it falls under the control of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The new football / soccer venue would open up any and all conventions through the football and playoff season.

So while the dome is a lifeless venue with bad football, the building will have plenty of use post-Rams.
