Maybe we can actually talk about football instead of bitching about the new admins totalitarian rule.

Did anyone go? I'm interested to hear how Josey is coming back from that knee, he could be a breakout player this year.

No, but I heard DGB blocked a punt!

Did I ever say how much of a great idea I think it is to have DGB blocking punts?

Still not sure I'm sold on the thought, but I'll roll with it. Supposedly he got close to a 2nd one as well. The flip side, and I have no way of knowing if one had anything to do with the other, but shortly after that, he dropped a pass.

The more I think about it though, field position killed us last year with a sputtering offense. Anything that can even just change field position I suppose is a good thing. Warming up to the idea.

While I'm admitting the errors of my ways, it seems Franklin deserves the starting spot. He was pretty efficient and has been taking better care of the ball compared to Mauk.

Printz looks to have had a good but not great day. Hosick was 3/3 with a TD in apparently limited opportunities.

#Mizzou's quarterbacks threw nine touchdowns in today's scrimmage. Franklin, Mauk, Printz and Berkstresser each had two. Hosick had one.

I can't decide whether our offense is improving, or our defense can't stop a nosebleed.

Also,

I don't believe any have been open to the public just yet.

Josey tweaked a hamstring earlier this week and sat out for a day. They're being careful with him, and trying not to overwork him, but so far he apparently looks really good. Good enough to be #1 on the depth chart anyway.

Don't forget Gaines was out today. Wouldn't have completely shut the offense down, but it might have changed some of the numbers, particularly in the air.

If he remains #1 after this scrimmage, then I'm not too concerned. If they drop him, I might not not be quite convinced he's back to old form.

Yes, please!

My taser isn't in use today. Yet.

Woah. Stop right there Deputy Fife.

Lets not go assuming crazy things like that after one scrimmage.
