Georgia had the reputation of great running backs. Cross had a great game plan, they penetrated, disrupted the run lanes, LB's cleaned up. It was the most comfortable the defense has looked all season.

The offense clicked, Lock threw to 7-8 receivers. If Lock doesn't go brain dead in the second half and Mizzou wins by 17, I believe Odom stays with that formula and the season looks much different.

I think we had the same mindset & game plan against FL except for the whole offense didn't make the trip part. D looked good despite being on the field for 7 1/2 hours. They gave up 19 points but with 2 more easy picks that number is 13.

The was mainly coaching. If we stuck with airing out the ball instead of running every play to take time we would have won.

So the 3 interceptions were the coaches fault?

No, but some of the very questionable play calling in the 2nd half was.

IMO the only thing the coaches came up short was single coverage on their slot man on their touchdown pass. I can't blame Locks second half on them.

I'll take the coaches side on this. Why quit running a play when it's getting 4 yards a pop?

Locks 3 picks, stubbornness to the HUNH, and our defense's inability to get off the field on 3rd down lost us that game, not running too much.

Lock got too confident and thought he was Kurt Warner 1999.
