I think Purdue and Idaho are easier than Uconn.

I think Auburn is by far the hardest game. 2nd hardest goes to Arky, 3rd to UGA. UK will be tough as well.

All others are more than winnable, but are still tossups.

I could see 7-8 wins with that schedule.

I'm not sold on Florida, yes, they have back to back East championships but Missouri is down, USC is down, Georgia was stuck in neutral and the Vols have Butch Jones calling the shots. I think the defense finally starts to crumble for the Gators this year.

Auburn could be an odd game. They are getting quite a bit of hype this year so, in true Auburn fashion, they could be fairly good or go 4-8.

I do think we beat you in Fayetteville, if only because Bert may very well be coaching for his job at that point. When he can actually be bothered to put in effort we usually do well.

I'd make a guess at 7 wins and a bowl game in Texas against a Big 12 team.

I agree with your post's points Ark. It is an extremely "winable" schedule. There really is no excuse why we should not win at least 7 given the gimmes and toss up games.

That is of course giving any and all benefit of the doubt that BO can and will be able to coach/lead. Do I personally think he will prove to be a respectable HC, honestly no. However, I hope to be proven wrong.

Florida consistently has as much talent as anyone on the back end of their defense. I think that will end up being MUs toughest match up with a toss up of @Arky and Aub for #2.

That is a good point. Missouri needs to establish a running attack to beat Florida. I think you have the pieces in place to do it mind you (after RW3 had to retire we really miss that RB we didn't take from Little Rock that you have), but you have to commit to showing up in a foul mood and just kicking their teeth in.

I believe injuries will play a big part in the late season game at Fayettnam.

USCe home game will show Tiger fans a lot.

UK road game is going to be tough for our Tigers.

I do think UK is improving in football but I am just not sold on Stoops the Lesser as their head coach. They have been fairly pedestrian on offense so if you can put a couple of TDs on the board I am not sure they can match you.

The big problem is that if you don't beat them, then people start to see UK as a moderately better program. You have to keep UK in the Ole Miss/Moo State level where they have good years every now and then but everyone knows they are a really a turd.

As for the Arkansas game, as odd as this will sound, the better we are doing that year the less I like our chances. Bert is as lazy as the day is long and if he is full on coast to a good season mode then you have a great chance to knock us off in Fayetteville. If he is coaching for his job then I think we win because he can really coach his fat arse off when he has too.
