Can’t unless he gets some big time donors to step up.

Even then they can't till after next year.
He's impervious till after year 4

His contract is protected through his 4th year

No contract is safe if there’s money involved.

They can, it will just take a huge amount of money.

from his contract
but really that's just the end of this season
buyout is 6 mil

No. The next paragraph prolongs it to 2021 because he made the tournament in year 1.

did he? I don't remember him making it. If so we are back to hookers and blow

Haha not at mizzou, you know boosters don’t fork up shite

I don’t even understand what that means? Protected?
Like we can’t even fire him and give him the entirety of the contract? What happens if we do fire him? Doesn’t make much sense

Read it. We CAN NOT FIRE HIM, without cause, before May 2021. And performance is not cause. Cause would be a paternity suit from a cheerleader.
We could try and buy him out. There probably is an amount of money he would take. Probably take both Kroenke and Laurie

For cause, I wonder if they could use: "Bringing disgrace to the University of Missouri?"

1) Hookers
2) Blow
3) Profit

basically we are stuck with him for this season and next, and then have to pay him 6 mil.
hole-e-sheet
but the reality is it's still just about money. We could buy him out - saying look man nobody likes you here what's it gonna take. Or we could breach the contract and let him sue. Both are expensive, especially option 2. Like in the area of 15-20 million expensive.
holy shite

I think Sterk has had it. The muscle and money men ain't gonna take it.

Right, I’ve read it. What’s the penalty though is what I’m asking. How can he NOT BE FIRED? Do they Nuke the university and whipe it off the face of the earth if he is?
The Language doesn’t make any sense. “Ok, we agreed not to but we are going to anyway. Take your money and frick off”

Right. He can sue for damages. They can’t make us keep him employed.
Posted on 12/3/19 at 9:52 pm to JesusQuintana
I just explained what it means. Of course we can lock him out of the building, and he can sue, and he will win something in the area of 15 to 20 mil maybe more. I''m not a lawyer but I have watched people play one on TV and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. He's likely to get the full value of the contract minus what he's already been paid plus punitive damages. 20 mil could be low balling it
It's just a horrendous contract
