This isn’t a good Tennessee team.

He’s certainly going to get a fair shot.
He can’t recruit for shite to this school.
We need to cut bait with MPS. We need a coach there.

If he keep sucking and the seats remain unfilled we’ll come up with the 6M as long as football is doing ok

Director of Player Development
He switched roles with Marco Harris

But we’re still paying him $425k (I think?)

He'll stay on the payroll...Jevon (2022) hasn't committed yet.

We don’t have that kind of time.

We could buy two or three 50 players a year for $425k.

Who recruits our bagman? Fix that and everything else falls into place.

I admit I am mostly a football guy, but the problem I have with Clownzo is he has a very dry personality, and that hurts his recruiting, the student athletics likely fall asleep during the recruiting process.

that was never an issue until he got here.

We need to stop acting like he got the porters or tilly too, I hate that.

given the age of this team, if he gets a solid GT this team could be knocking on the door of the tournament next year. If they do, he gets another year here.

is he having a bad sophomore year? This isn't what I heard last year.

Hes also grown like 6 inches in the last 1.5 years, it could be that hes trying to get used to a new height

Realistically, this is only year 2 of Cuonzo's tenure/rebuild. Porter Bros & Co. fell into his lap, and we got lightning in a bottle with Kassius Robertson. After winning a total of 24 games in 3 seasons prior, that was just the stars aligning for us.

Should that stroke of luck have been parlayed into a quicker rebuild? Maybe. I am concerned like everyone else about the lack of recruiting success, as that was supposed to be Cuonzo's strength. But Kim Anderson's results were an unprecedented low for Mizzou basketball, so we're definitely going to have to endure more than 1.5 rebuilding seasons before things turn around.

Just be honest people and stop living in a fantasy world. Mizzou is just not that attractive to big-time athletes especially in football and basketball. We will get one here and there.

CM needs to get some offense in his schemes, because that's another thing that doesn't help in recruiting. I believe that Tray Jackson and Kobe Brown will be good players down the line and hopefully McKinney.
