re: Emanuel Hall
Not at all. I’d have said that before the combine.

Again, his ability to create separation is really unmatched. A lot of people will claim it’s only on go routes, but it’s not. He gets open. Watch the TD catch in the Florida game and see how bad he abuses the corner on a slant at the goal line.

Not to diminish Maclin or DAX. I agree they both had better hands.

re: Emanuel Hall
Maclin has ridiculous ball skills and hands not many people have hands that good. but i agree before Hall got hurt this season Hall was running more underneath and shorter patterns while still getting open deep easily. Heck if you can get open deep that often why not go to it, right?
I think if he can stay healthy and improve his hands a bit he can be a top level receiver, he is crazy fast and grades out top on explosion, speed, etc. He had a crazy high Sparq score coming out of high school event before coming to college.

I would love to see him tear it up in the league.

Emanuel Hall posted an ABSURD 141.8 passer rating when targeted this season, best among draft eligible wide receivers from the SEC.

Makes me wonder what Gabberts rating was throwing to DX. I’m still convinced that season was the sole reason Gabbert was over drafted.

And DX is easily the most talented WR Mizzou has ever had. Lethal in the short game and can burn the hell out of you deep. Physically imposing at 6’5 225. 4.4/40 and a 41 inch vertical at that size. Those are close to Megatron measureables. Those were with already shredded knees too.

DX was just cursed with bum knees. Had all-pro talent.

Hall is still raw as frick in his routes and his hands are 50/50 far too often given how often he bests his cover man.

re: Emanuel Hall
Many WR’s coming out college are not polished. On the right team and the right offense a WR with athleticism/speed can flourish.

Example
Tyreek Hill had 1407 yards receiving(2 TD’s) and 1430 rushing(7 TD’s) in his college career. Projected to go undrafted m, but KC picked him in the 5th round. He has become one the top NFL WR’s. He is a 3 x pro bowl pick and 2 x all-Pro in his 3 seasons.

I hope Hall is picked by the right team/offense. If Hall is half as productive at WR as Hill in first 3 seasons he will be a steal.

I would be really happy if the Chiefs picked him. With Mahomes he could be a really good #3 WR next season.

Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill was 11th in the country in all purpose yards his only season at OKlite. He would have been at worst a 3rd round pick after his final season if he doesn't get booted for domestic assault.

re: Emanuel Hall
Hill was not a polished WR in college. He was APB and was very productive in that role. He was able to transition his athleticism into being one of the best WR in the league.

In my post I said “If Hall is half as productive at WR”.

That would be 4 TD’s, 542.5 receiving, and 37 receptions a year.

“On the right team/offense”

Hill was one of the best offensive weapons in CFB. He could take a direct snap, line up beside the QB, play the slot, or line up outside on the boundary and he can return kicks. He didn't fall to the 5th round because he wasn't "polished". He fell because he put his hands on a pregnant woman.

Hall is an outside WR. That's it. Their skill sets and draft scenarios aren't comparable at all.
