Our OOC is harder, but we should still be favored in 3 if not all 4.

UF, UT, and usc will be easier. Arkansas will be harder. UK, UGA and our SECW will be the same. So 3 gets "easier" and 1 gets harder from last years schedule.

I am on the fence with Drink for now. But I would note he has always managed to win more games than the preseason pundits predict.

Then you will have nothing to worry about. Look what happened to Odom. The preseason pundits predicted him to win 8 games in his last season and he went 6-6. Plus, the year before that the similar thing happened, he won two less games that the preseason pundits predicted. See what I did here?

Our offense is "throw it to Luther" and hope for the best.

Unless Ive missed a lot, how do we know that? Im sure he will get the most throws, rightfully so. Need OC, with limited info, I for one do not know the "offense" yet.

What makes you say that? They had a ton of players hit the portal, and coaching turnover. Is there something I'm missing that Arky had brought in that's going to give them real improvement over last year?

I'm here for all the smoke this year. I think Lovett and Bannister not being in this offense will make it look one dimensional. Sam Horn, Jake Garcia, Hell Jeff Garcia could be playing out there, we aren't winning more than 6 games.

frick me, you’re overtaking JQ as worst poster. Yea Drink and a QB have to prove it, but our skill group even without Lovett is very talented.

Only way that happens is if Cook is under center this fall ...

Otherwise ...

First 3 of 4 W ... maybe K State beats us (unlikely if we don't throw 4 consecutive INTs again) ...

Then vandy, Carolina, arky, tenner and Florida should get 4 of 5, maybe 3 of 5 ...

So that's a window of 6-9 wins. If we finish below 6 ... Drink can move on (or will be moved on) ...

Just copy UK and we will be fine.

LOL drink has done nothing to even be compared to stoops.

Stoops actually had credentials.

Drink is a bad coach, we've seen it. He smoked a f'ing celebratory cigar for 3-6 in sec, 6-6 overall.

Bar has always been set low here, it's why beiser, female bball coach, are still here. No one cares enought to demand the best.

Missouri sports have ALWAYS been a speed bump till cardinals/chiefs,blues,etc sports start.

It is not how you fire and hire coaches. Let it go and see how things goes. Not the way to fire someone too soon without giving enough time. Odom was a good one to be fired for his continual screwed up. I know he was a good Mizzou player and time has come to make changes when things don't go his way. Drinkwitz is now at the top of making key hired in the last three coaching hires. DC, OC, and OL coach. Looks like the roster has improved by far since he took over from Odom. If you do not see it then you are not very good at evaluating coaches and players. Basketball was a surprise turn around. It is by far much easier to turn around a basketball team than it is to a football team. Plus, this is the first time I have seen more than 2 good quarterbacks competing for a starting position. Do you remember when the last time any Missouri HC had more than 2 talented quarterbacks competing for a starting position?
