Hard to tell. I do like the fact that we don't seem as frenetic. I guess the opportunity hasn't arisen but I'd like to see a play action pass to Albert from under center.

It does look pathetic and probably will continue to do so but all of the kids that I know that go to school there are gone for the weekend.

I like the varied looks. Looks like Dooley will be far more adaptable than Heupel and won’t live or die by the 4 wide, supersonic tempo.

Hot. shite team. Fortnite. Holiday weekend. All these players bang the girls the would-be male fans target. Lots of reasons students are caring less about school spirit.

Huepel didn’t really run 4 wide very much. His offenses the last 2 seasons were mostly out of 11 personnel

I liked the multiple looks and the routes seem to be much more complex. Still dropped too many balls.

I'm sure we were pretty vanilla, but if there is an area of concern it's that we really didn't get the TEs involved very much and the running game was not very good. Hopefully we were holding back but it was a lot of straight ahead, basic running that really didn't get results.

I'd like to see a lot more on the ground next week and to chill with the damn drops already

Primarily inside zone RPOs. They ran the ball multiple times when the defense was dictating pass just to keep the clock moving.

Not having Pendleton at LG changes timing and communication as well.

I liked what the underclassmen did when they got reps. Scott and Hall on the field at the same time will be a nightmare for the FS.

I was hoping you'd comment on that. I hope we have some more diversity in the run game because there really isn't any reason we shouldn't be a very good rushing team and we were anything but in wk 1

They showed they could line up in multiple looks and execute the concepts. That's a significant departure from last year's single look per drive running the same RPO.

After a second peak at just the offensive snaps, Case Cook got a healthy dose of experience at LG rotating with Bailey.

He needs to work on hand placement and staying parallel before moving to the second level. He has a lot of upper body strength and does a great job of moving his man off his spot while staying within the 3 yd window.

What are your thoughts going forward on toting two big backs for the first time since at least I’ve been following Mizzou? I’m personally excited about a healthy Crockett and Rouu Streep with that scatback mix.

Do you think Dooley will have Lock go under center more inside the RZ than we’ve ever really seen with a Zou QB?

Going with a double TE set, Downing as a FB and Hall split out, you have a lot of options.

I see the OL need to play better. Running game was not that good. That is what Missouri need to fix. Will not score many points by throwing the ball most of the time. The problem is Missouri need to open up the run in order to throw the ball successfully. Missouri was playing a weak team and that is not a good sign. I like the Gary Pinkel team when we get guys make huge run and just mix it up. But again weak when play tough defense teams. I am hoping it will get fix before the Purdue game. I know there was time Missouri should have done better on the OL blocking and opening it up. I hope that will improve as the weeks goes by and be ready for revenge against Purdue!

It wasn’t that bad. They averaged 4.5 yards per attempt in the first half, without really trying to diversify the run game.

In the second half backups were running into a stacked box, as Mizzou was trying not to run up the score.

Mizzou will throw more if teams load the box in closer games.

No perimeter runs. All straight ahead. Dooley wasn’t really flashing what kind of run scheme he’s gonna run this year. I think it was all practice for those inside runs.

I give the wrs some credit on adjusting to some of Locks under-throws, also.
