According to PM Mizzou is after former 5* recruit and Alabama player Devonta Pollard. You might remember that we were in his final two before he chose Bama and we took Clarkson as a transfer. After he testified against his mom in the kidnapping case all charges against Pollard were dropped, and he went to JUCO. Would be a 2014 recruit and could play right away next year.

I'm surprised all those charges were dropped. Wow. His mama pretty much ran him, maybe with her out of the picture he can grow up and be his own person.

Was not impressed with his freshman year. Maybe he was distracted with everything else going on. Give me a high school senior though. I will pass.

What baggage? His mom is messed up so that's his fault?
I think if we're honest what many of you really want is for Mizzou's frontcourt to suck again next year so you can bitch and moan louder for Haith to be fired and feel like you have a stronger case for it.
To each their own. Pollard didn't rape anybody, hasn't been in any altercations, etc. I will take frontcourt scoring of any kind in any form for this program. Those who disagree DO NOT get to bitch about Ryan Rosburg getting PT again next year. You can't have it both ways.

I love Rosburg! He's my boy. I got my picture with him at the bars this weekend. He gives every game 100% and that's all I can ask for, and more than a few players on this team can say.

I would love to have front court scoring. I just wasn't impressed with Pollard's freshman year. For the 2 years we would have him and Rosburg's last 2 years, I wouldn't be surprised if Rosburg is actually a more effective player. Give me a high school senior big that will be here 4 years.

If the staff thinks he can contribute then go for it. I also expected Pollard to be better than he showed in his time at Bama. Like a lot of freshman he needed to put on some muscle. Only averaged 12 a game this year in Juco. On the plus side he is shooting over 59% from the field. He would be part of this years class with the two stud incoming freshman.

Rosburg has struggled all season long and has been pretty terrible on both ends of the floor. Best thing that could happen next year would be other guys (Jones, Post, Price) stepping up and taking more minutes with Rosburg coming off the bench for 10 minutes a game.
Pollard is a SF more like Gant and Biedscheid. I really hope we get him. Can't have too many 5*.

I don't disagree with this, particularly with Jones. Rosburg is what he is. He's not the most athletic. He's not a scoring machine. But he'll work hard, get some boards and get his 4 or 5 fouls and get out. Rarely will he just completely disappear though. Complete definition of a role player. Jones on the other hand, I think brings the athleticism and energy that he has a lot more up side offensively. Know nothing about Price other than what his numbers show. Post showed one glimpse of potential this year. If he can tap into that, he can be slightly better than Rosburg. If he can't tap into that, he won't be as good.
