With a knee injury. This one hurt, he was looking like a major contributor this year.

Hurts for sure, but isn't he more of a project/back up this year?

From what I read he was likely in the 2 deep at end.

Big blow for a positional group that needs quality depth.

Texjas lost 2 backs.

Chodelahoma lost a WR upper class deep threat.

He was likely backing up Walker as the boundary DE. I was really looking forward to seeing his burst off the edge.

Joe Moore is the next man up. Moore showed that he can set the edge vs the run and the staff trusted him to be on the field late in games were they needed a stop to win vs UF and tOSU. He has to start winning on passing downs.

Jakai Lang might be another possibility, but he's still pretty young.

It was a quiet camp for both of the true freshman. I've heard more than one podcast suggest that they don't expect either to get many meaningful snaps unless injuries pile up.
