I would take Sheyer before Capel.

Might want to check Creighton out this year. They have a very good team this year, currently ranked 10th in the last poll.

Marshal would be a solid get but he isn't leaving

He would be in my top 2...... him not leaving, seems to be the overwhelming opinion..

I think Marshall will be able to be persuaded to leave. But I don't think it's about money. It's about the resources to win a national championship. I don't think WSU will ever be able to recruit at the level to win a championship, without leaving the MVC.
Sell Marshall on having the resources to win it all

That sure would be nice... He's gone about as far as he can go at WSU.

He'd be a great grab

Beating Wisconsin is impressive but they haven't played anyone that is top 30 either.

Ive been on the Kevin Keatts train for 2 years now(originally wanted SLU to get him). He would be rather cheap.

Basically $3,000,000 is #10 head coach salary range. what many miss is the additional coaching pool these big time coaches require which can be the amount of their own salary. For example Coach Cal's top 2 assistants each make $1,500,000 this year! That's just 2 assistants. IF Mizzou is willing to spend 6-7 Million $ on their coaching staff then they better go after a name that will fire up the fan base right away. That's not Romario and may not be Cuonzo. I think names that would immediately fire up the base that we could have a punchers chance at with the money (current deal with incentives known) are:
1. Gregg Marshall ($4 total)
2. Scott Drew (2.5 base couldn't find bonuses)
3. Matt Painter (3.5 total)
4. Dana Altman (3 total)
