Think about it.
Who are the only people that would leak that they are interviewing for a job?
People that don't have a job as good as the one they're interviewing for, and likely don't have the qualifications for that job.
Some solid OC or DC at a power school or a HC at a solid school don't leak that they're interviewing, they're expected to interview.
Jerkoff McGee, the head coach at Western Green Mountain Valley State, he'll leak that his interviewing. It makes him look good.
Campbell can now say he had interest from an SEC program. Same thing with Temple dude.
