I was at the FL/Mizzou game in Gainesville when Muschamp lost the fan base so Muschamp KNOWS what BO is going thru.......it was ugly (the blowout win when we only got about 41 of offense). About half the crowd left at half & the pretty much the rest at the end of the 3rd quarter. It was a depressing stadium to be in.

That was a classy move by Boom.

Lets be honest, while he has made some mistakes, Odom was not dealt the best hand this year. A new coach in the SEC with a team that has some personnel issues is not a winning combo.

He and Mizzou will get better but that first year in the SEC as a HC can be really painful if you step into a bad situation.

Not the best hand, but a winnable hand.

FIFY - Not the best hand, but at least a competitive hand.

Rookie HCBO is over his head. ie. Look at Special Teams.

Getting better requires strong recruiting, have you seen our recruit list? BO is burning the candle at both ends. Not winning with this talent, and not recruiting very well. Based on those 2 things alone it's apparent he wasn't ready. It would be totally different if he cut his teeth at Memphis, and then stepped up to P5.

Oh I don't deny that, he was not ready for an SEC job. There are very few first year coaches who aren't willing to cheat their arses off who are.

It will be a year or more before you start to see improvement. You will probably go to bowl game next year and roflstomp a Big 12 team. The year after that you can probably put a serious claim to the East.

It is not just recruiting, though that is important, its development. See how Missouri plays next year and recruits next year.

If it is still horrible... fire him and find another guy.

This makes everything better.

When Boom knows you suck, you really, really, suck.

It can only trend upward from here, because here is rock bottom.
