He is going to be a middle of the road QB in the SEC. Cant make a ton of throws and doesn’t have the “it” factor.

With that being said, he is far better than the options we had without him. I’m hoping our offense succeeds, but Dooley definitely has his work cut out for him.

The jury is out.

He averaged 247 yds of total offense per game vs FBS opponents in 2017. That would have been second to only Drew Lock in the SEC. I certainly don't think he is going to stand in the pocket and throw outside the hashes 3 times per possession but I think he can do several other things that will make him successful in the SEC.

I definitely don't see them as the same player.

What are the major differences in what each brings to an offense?

Good catch. Bryant is black. That was one of the clues for me.

LINK

All signs point to Hurts being the better qb but Hurts played on a better overall team last year. Hurts is also a player with more experience in high leverage situations. That link shows that Hurts not only is a more efficient passer but a better runner as well.

Bryant is still somewhat an unknown to me, get him with lesser athletes and we will really see how good he is.

McLoud and Cane were both six round picks and Renfrow is essentially TJ Moe. Let's not church things up.

If we are talking 2017 skill groups, I'd take Hall, Moore, and Albert over McCloud, Cane and Renfro.

With what? You think the group Bryant was throwing to was better than Hall, Albert O, Johnson and Knox/Scott?

I’ll bet the NFL draft is going to strongly disagree. Hall and O will go higher than anyone from Clemson’s 2017 group.

Yes. And its not close. At this point in time, the receivers he had in 2017, as juniors and seniors are better than JJ, Knox, and scott. Now, if youre argument is who will have a better career, I'll take ours. Thats not what this is about.

Also. Hall missed too much time, especially when we needed him, and Albert O of all the names mentioned is the best. So no argument there. Id take Hunter and Albert as the top 2.

If we are counting injuries then I see your point. Purely from a talent standpoint though I like our guys better.

Hall and Albert O are the two most talented guys in the group

It's an interesting stat, but Clemsons Power 5 games we're mostly against ACC opponents.
