Gant has the athleticism to be an NBA wing. But not the game or mental attitude. If he had a big time work ethic he could maybe.
KJ and Phillips could both maybe come close to NBA type guys based on athleticism. Both would have to be PGs in the NBA. But they are still a long ways away.
Though I didn't think that English or Denmon would have NBA chances after their freshmen years either.

You obviously haven't been watching it then, it's better in every way. Lucky for you, the playoffs start next week, watch the Spurs, Warriors, OKC, if you want to see some of the best basketball you'll see all year.

I just think Phillips is way too small to make the NBA, but anything could happen. I think both could be good overseas players if they want to pursue that option.

If Im forced to watch NBA, I do watch the warriors. Why, because their the most "college basketball" styled NBA team.
I guess its because of how much I love CBB, but man the NBA is so different.

Size is an issue for both Phillips and Walton.
Walton would have to make the Clarkson transition from wing to PG.
Phillips is small and not a major scoring threat. Ulis from Kentucky is a similar size and athleticism but is a way better scorer. The PG for Dallas is about the same size Berea. I don't think Phillips has the scoring

I'm right there with you on the Warriors, I have jumped on their bandwagon for sure. Not having a favorite NBA team means I can watch the games in peace which is nice.

I was shocked Ulis is leaving early, but it's Kentucky, no one seems to stay all 4 years. Hope for his sake he gets drafted and sticks somewhere, you are correct he's more of a scoring threat than Phillips.

Jordan Geist unrated JUCO PG tweeted he has a Mizzou visit this weekend. No reported offers but apparently is a Freshman in JUCO and was a qualifier out of HS, like Moore was. Also a 2nd team JUCO AA for what that's worth.

There's a couple AAU tournaments later this month that coaches are allowed to attend and recruit.
There's usually a few unsigned seniors that find a school during them. The first is in Atlanta.

Last night's Warriors and Lakers games were the only NBA games I have cared about in ages. And I only watched because the Blues game didn't last anymore OT.

Jordan Geist a 2nd team all-American juco guard committed per his Twitter. Would fill the back up PG spot.
Also probably finalizes the roster for next year.

Definitely needed a backup PG

He may be ok. I haven't seen film on him. Comes in as a sophomore so 3 years to play. Good size for a PG at 6'3.
In the juco national tournament he played against CJ Jackson and put up 29 to get the win.

I mean, I guess we needed someone to take a scholarship, but this isn't a real exciting pickup. We were literally his only offer and his numbers aren't overwhelming. PM says we're still wanting to use the last scholarship and we want yet another guard which is just flat insane.

It's harder to recruit bigs and the staff can't afford the PR disaster of having every single big say "no fricking way."

His highlight reel included an inbounds pass. I think that's a first for me.

Also his HS highlights. Would like to see what he did last year at JUCO.
In HS he played with 5 star big man Caleb Swanigan.
