They're probably done. Adding Booker I think meant they'd have to make room. I'm not sure there's anyone out there at this point that they'd pick up at the expense of someone who's already on the roster.
Only thing I've never heard confirmation on is if Hill cancelled his visit that was scheduled for this weekend after committing to Marquette. I suppose he would be one they could make another run on but it's probably too late. I think they backed off of him and focused entirely on Booker.

Not really up on twitter. If this guy tweeted this to Hill it wouldn't show up unless Hill Retweets it, correct? If so, I wonder why he would retweet it. To mess with Mizzou fans at the expense of getting Marquette fans' panties in a wad?

No reason to get your hopes up, it will probably end poorly as well.
A few weeks ago I was saying this was shaping up to be the greatest year for Missouri sports ever.
In the span of less than a week I've seen a complete 180 from that, and would call this one of the worst weeks for Missouri sports I can ever remember.

Tough week for sure. Not sure if it's one of the worst. Last year it felt like every week was like this. Reality is football is 7-1 and their only loss came to the only other team with a legitimate shot at winning the east. Lost Booker to the best basketball program in the country but were in it until the end. And legitimately in it. Not the dog and pony show that the Elliott's put on.
Definitely not fun, but not the worst. Let's get a win this weekend and get the positive mojo flowing again.

I'm out of place here, I guess. I'm HAPPY to be a Mizzou fan and I am really looking forward to future games in many sports. Most posts here are real turn-offs as they are all about slamming Mizzou players, criticizing their performances, griping about coaches and their lack of recruiting ability, etc. It's very possible that some of these potential recruits say NO to Mizzou just because of the crap they read here and on other sites from people who are supposed fans. To the few of you who actually post informative messages, BIG Thanks!

Some are understandably disappointed we didn't land Booker. However, we still have a really solid class coming in. Truthfully, I think people here tend to be more positive about Mizzou than some other boards. Sometimes we end up paying for it on the rant because the threads are so positive and pro-Missouri.
I think it's good to remain positive but also to be able to critically look at what is going on at Mizzou.

Couldn't agree more. It is a place to be critical at times, but gotta keep it in perspective. We aren't Kentucky basketball, would have loved to land him but it's hard competing head to head recruiting with them.
I'm really high on the 2 kids we have, very high level, high-ceiling guys. plus we have 2 other transfers sitting out getting better. If we signed 2 guys at this level every season we will be a very good program

Isn't the early signing period soon? I really like what I've seen of Gant. JIII just needs to put on some muscle but I really like his overall game. He anticipates well, can rebound, block shots and score efficiently. Jones has surprised me. He has quickly figured out how to earn minutes and is playing under control. This years team should make the tourney. The future is bright for a tiger BBall.

The signing period starts (has started) in November but I'm not sure of the dates.
I really like Gant and J3 as well. Post gives me some pause for concern, but apparently he was playing on a bum wheel last week. Hopefully he can show more tomorrow. We definitely need him or Rosburg to really step up in the middle. J3 has a great nose for the ball but I don't think he'll ever be a traditional interior player. Maybe Jones can contribute there?
