How is it the coaches fault that...
Witter fumbled
Albert O fumbled
Castillo snapped a ball out of the back of the endzone
Acy called on an awful roughing the passer on 3rd down
Crack your own brain in half trying to explain how coaches are to blame for those four plays. After you've achieved vegetable status, then try to convince yourselves that those four plays were not the top 4 reasons we lost. If you aren't drooling at this point, come to a conclusion.
Seriously. No replies that do not directly address the subject matter of the OP. Honest, critical thinking. See where you come out.

You defend Odom no matter the way Mizzou loses or the way he calls the game.
Explain to me how the head coach is not responsible for losing by 17 to a garbage Texas team?

The announcers said during the game that the Texas coach has been drilling in his players to cause and recover fumbles. Bo has the same opportunity to teach and instill the same thing in his players.
Again, the players played bad and along with the coach not adjusting at halftime and allowing his team to also play undisciplined. Good coaches adjust.

Lol.
Two responses that completely ignore the directness of the OP. Could that be that it's the only way you can maintain the "hur dur coaches suck" narrative.
Answer the questions. Honestly. It's simple.

Honestly, I think it’s gotten to the point to where you just start threads on this board with the intention to get heated reactions from us. Essentially trolling. I think you enjoy pushing everyone’s buttons on here. If you ask me, I think you should be given a timeout from the Mizzou board.

Good coaches teach their players to tuck the ball away
Albert O's fumble was preventable. Hold the ball high and tight!
Our players lack proper fundamentals with the ball and that's on Odom
Not going for it on 4th down with ten minutes left in the 4th quarter is on Odom
Getting bullied by every team with a winning record is on Odom

I'm sure our coaches don't teach our players to carry the ball high and tight. They probably say "hey, carry it away from your body. Sure, it will lead to more fumbles but damn if it doesn't look cool!"
Is Nick Saban a good coach? Alabama has fumbled six more times than we have and we've played one more game.

More and more recognize this.
Last night BO and crew were schooled by Herman and outplayed by his severely depleted squad.
Obviously he's having a hard time excepting this reality.

Their players tuck the ball
Some fumbles are unavoidable, others aren't
Fumbles aside, it's pathetic we always look like trash whenever we play a decent team. Overall lack of discipline from the team (see MTSU, Mo State) over the past two years is unexceptable and needs to be corrected. If the mistakes continue, Odom is done

LOL. Come the frick on.
You're not even making sense. Their players tuck the ball huh? Most of the time? Sure. So do ours. That's what they are coached to do. Funny thing is, players don't always do what they are coached to do.

We would have lost even without the fumbles
Odom couldn't even compete with a depleted Texas team. Imagine if they had their starters?
Texas laughed us out of the stadium because Odom didn't have the guys ready
None of this was acceptable. Maybe if we were Kansas, but we are Mizzou. We should expect more from a football school. KU expects FF in basketball every year yet we are somehow content with 7-6 and 0 wins over any decent team

So now that I've proven that our players aren't poorly coached in regards to ball security you've switched to "would have lost anyway"
Ok...disagree though. Both of those fumbles were huge momentum shifts. Particularly Witter's. At the very least, they flip field position and their offense was doing nothing against us. At best, they are points.

Who is content with 7-6? I'm surely not. We can have much better seasons. There is a whole lot between we can do better and "gah! fire everybody"

Both statements are true.

There was no excuse for the Albert O fumble. Tuck the ball. Poor coaching
Witters fumble was actually more excusable, but that was the one that went for 6
Just an undisciplined, poorly coached team. I saw it even when we were winning. Just not at the level we need to be. Special teams mistakes, ball handling, tackling, busted coverages, receiver play, etc.
Odom has not impressed.

Why do you keep repeating this nonsense? Do you legitimately think that he has not been drilled 100s of times to keep the ball close to his body?
Players make mistakes. It happens. Even ones that play on teams with "good coaches"
Posted on 12/28/17 at 9:08 am to JesusQuintana
Who to say it has been "drilled into him?"
I don't trust Odom

I'm just...speechless.
You legitimately think our coaches don't teach and preach ball security? That's pee wee football stuff.
Saban's players fumble=players fault
Odom's players fumble=coaches fault
You don't see how goofy that all sounds? You don't trust him? What does that even mean?

The coaches fingerprints are on the team. Always are
Mizzou is undisciplined.
It's the little things.

Ummmm, we don't lose that game without those 4 turnovers. That's simply BS. It's how TX got all their points. We lost by 10, it was budget of TX to run misdirection with 2 minutes to play.
I will say that I didn't like the conservative punt with 10 to play. Your chances of winning aren't great at that point, so go for it with Lock as your QB.
Also that roughing the Passer call on ACY was an absolute joke of a call.
Kind of like when they tried to review that dropped pass from TX reciever. What the frick are we looking at...
