Huh? Who said I had no patience with Cuonzo?

I think he’ll end up doing pretty well here. We are just currently dogshit. Most of that is not his fault though.

Pinson may be better than Harris at the end of their careers. A sophomore Harris would have easily been better than Pinson.

What is Harris better at? Statistically they are about the same player.

Well, I’m assuming Harris stayed and played the remainder of his FR season. I didn’t make that clear. They may have similar talent levels (I think Harris ends up the better player), but it’s hard to beat a year of experience. And we could desperately use a little seasoning and talent. Someone already said tonight that our experienced players aren’t talented and our talented players aren’t experienced.

Swapping Harris for Geist would not have made that huge of a difference and Harris really likes to party. He was never going to get along with gonzo

My biggest issue with Harris is that he can’t shoot. I’ve only watched 1 NC State game, but the scout is obviously still the same. The defense barely paid attention to him if he didn’t have the ball.

I think I like Pinson over Harris. He’s been better than I thought he was. He’s got a better feel as a passer and he’s a better shooter. Harris obviously came in with the better body.

Both he and Pickett have been better than expected. Smith can also be a quality piece if he plays with a couple of other guys who can break down a defense. Watson looks a lot like a freshman most of the time. That gives me some hope for next year adding a very efficient Smith, another athletic big in Jackson and an athletic guard in McKinney. Dropping Puryear and to a lesser extent Geist from the rotation should also help.

That seemed to be the expectation. Looking HIGHLY unlikely at this point. Continued sloppy play, very little offensive skill, few athletes. This is a BAD basketball team

I thought you were talking about football next year! NM

I think that Geist has improved big-time this year with his ball handling and his shooting. He's struggling lately with his 3, because teams are trying to shut him and Tilmon down and they are. I would take Geist as he is now over Harris, because he is a gamer. Harris is the best perimeter defensive player on NC St.

Pickett will be a player down the line and Watson has some work to do. Santos will be a good do it all player next year and I have always liked Pinson. Pinson's game is better suited for a running team. Dru Smith will be a awesome replacement for Geist next year, because he's good on both sides of the ball.

You could get a win against us. Arkansas has either looked like a second round NCAAT team... or stunk on ice so far this season. When we stink we can get beat by any team in the country.

I won't judge the team until we get a better report from our resident Navajo code talker.

im going with what ever happens this year. It was expected, and getting Mark eligible made this team worth watching. It was known that next year would be a much much better year, just gotta get through this year and hope Tilmon and smith and the rest get better.

.500 is probably a stretch.

Because of their lack of length and bench I would go to Mike Anderson's 20 minutes of hell and slow it down for the other 20 minutes.

That’s 2 completely different styles. Both are difficult to teach. No college coach could install that type of system. Better to take some lumps this year and have a team better prepared next season.
