Did he already take it down?
It's a blank picture now at least on my mobile.

No, there is text up top, not sure why the long footer along with it, this was from last night though. There was another recruit that also stated he would not comment on the ongoing situation.

he may have. It was basically something about gathering "facts" before he can solidify his commitment to Mizzou.

Yeah. Didn't sound too damning, honestly.

Please show me how Mizzou comes out of this situation looking good? I'm desperate to know please?

In don't think it's that big of a deal.
The cause they're supporting has some pretty thin grievances. Even watching the discussion here, the response from those supporting the action is "well, if they feel like they need to do this, something must be wrong."
There's some words being thrown about on campus. Likely the worst word in the language according to today's standards, but it's still a word. Going to extremes over words and the administration not reacting in a way in response to those words that is acceptable by students is a little, well...extreme.
Black students getting beaten on campus? Yep, fire the administrator that didn't do anything. Black kids not getting served at the cafeteria because they're black? Spfootball team better strike.
Some guy calling a guy that was fricking elected student body president a ****? It sucks, but what can be done? Same thing with the drunk kid and the group.
Then again, I don't think I've ever been in a situation where a single white dude dropping an n bomb on a group of black people wouldn't have escalated. So, kudos to the group I guess. Perhaps all of my experiences were with groups of people more prone to violence.

Russell Hansbrough just tweeted out that there is zero racial tension between players and coaches, that they are a family. It sounds to me like he's concerned about the effects this action may have.

I'm sure it was discussed in the meeting. Perception is reality, and right now the perception on national media is a bad one for the university as a whole. All parts

I think he's responding to others who have suggested there could be a problem. So do we fire all the coaches who support and pull the scholarships from all of the white players who are supporting this too?

Of course not. The university and football program have been effectively held captive by this.
They'll have to cater to the extortion. They have no choice.

I am guessing this gets resolved some how before our game this next weekend but it would be ugly if it doesn't. We still won't be very well prepared if/when it gets resolved. This season has been one to forget.

I'm still trying to figure out how a random white guy, by himself, walked up to a group of black people and called them all the n word. That just sounds super unlikely.

So I guess Mizzou isn't racist, but they are racist because they elected a black kid?

Yes. Without question.

Don't get your panties in a wad. Something tells me they're big boys and they'll work it out. If it means Wolfe stepping down, it's only going to be because he handled something wrong, not because they're catering to anyone. If it's enacting some sort of racial sensitivity courses to orientation, it's because it's a good thing or needed, not because they're catering. Stop being such a damn chicken little.
