Looks like the two weeks off were wasted

This team hasn’t looked particularly good for 4 weeks.

This defense looks unprepared. Cook looks completely lost. Very disappointing performance.

aTm ran counter and inside zone and Hicks looked like he had never defended it before. He doesn't have value unless he can play downhill. Making him read and drop is playing away from his skill set. Playing as a fire zone blitzer was how he had success last year and they haven't used it at all. I was expecting a more aggressive front, especially once Weigman started throwing seeds all over the yard.

This is starting to look like an over correction from sending pressure 50% of the time last year. aTm was allowing pressure on 30% of their drop backs and held Missouri to 14%. The lack of stunts/twists and blitzing is uninspiring.

The lack of adjustments and not sending pressure is not encouraging.
