Team came to play

They look more relaxed now that they know MPJ is gone for the year.

Should be an interesting final Sunday if we can hold on

Choking...

That dribble weave shite isn’t gonna cut it with the guard pressure St. John’s is showing. It’s just pushing them out on the perimeter.

Wow. Went with a zone. CM hates zone.

I think these guys are tired.

I was listening on radio. All of a sudden the feed ended, and the football pregame show started. Found game on another station.

CBB has to do something about the refs. shite is unwatchable because of their random picking and choosing when it comes to what a foul is.

It’s super irritating

Very nice win today. Coughed up a lead, but finished the game on a 40-24 run

I mean St. Johns was drilling 30 footers, what are you going to do but shoot better than them?

That Ponds kid also dropped 31

Ruining the game. Those guys called like 6 fouls well after the play. They’d call fouls on the result, not the play. If it’s a foul you call it, if not you let it go. Tilmons foul comes to mind, no need to blow the whistle.
St Johns guards were pretty solid IMO, hopefully it turns into a pretty decent win come tourney time.

The perimeter defense isn't good. Hopefully the light comes on.

I’m glad we won, but opening the 2nd half, our first 20 possessions...9 times we never got a shot due to 9 turnovers.....9 turnovers in 20 possessions. That’s bad! Very bad!
Our guards have to be better. Harris, Geist, and Phillips have to be able to handle the pressure and get the ball to our scorers. Good guard play is so important to success.

It’s terrible. Completely ruins the flow. Guys are trying to play and there’s a ticky tack call.

Then there’s an obvious foul guys kind of let up expecting a whistle, and nothing.

TP got crushed on a loose ball, no call. Barnett grabs a defensive rebound with zero contact, no over the back, foul.

It happens for both teams, but that doesn’t “even it out”. Let them play a little bit.

They got cold late, we went on a nice run. I was worried early in the second half that this team didn’t have a run in them.

Switching to zone forced some TOs and bad shots and helped create some nice opportunities on the other end. Smart move, especially since it’s well known that CM hates zone. He even stayed with for the entire second half.

#23 West Virginia up next at 8:30 on ESPN2. Don’t get many Sunday night games, but I like it.

Definitely going to be a good gauge at where this team is. WVU destroyed UCF
