When can we start hating him and saying we're glad he didn't go to Mizzou?

I wouldn't come here on the "We are family, come stay home pitch" (ok, I would, but you get it). Talking time is over, we have to start at least making the tournament and showing results. At least then he would have a real pitch to the kids in St. Louis...

"Look men from your city are in the tournament having success with me building something great"

Or even better

"look we helped ______ make it to the league"

Then we don't have to pitch them an idea but instead we sell them something we have already been doing

Thats all we have so far

Agreed

Still nothing to show for it yet.

the pitch of "stay home" should be the final talk of sale. Problem for us, its all we have right now. We could say our program is starting to do great things, but that's all talk.

still think Cuonzo needs to win with low 4 high 3 stars like Mark Smith, Watson, Pickett and Mckinney for a couple years, then elite players will give Mizzou a chance.

Ive never bought into the one and done ie 5 star players. Dont get me wrong, I'd LOVE(no pun) to get one, But im fine with what you said type talent that buys into the program and is there for a few years. You can easily win with those types.

It’s hard to win championships without at least borderline 5 star talent. Mizzou just has to be successful enough that those elite players think they can win a championship by coming here.

I was just talking about winning as in getting to the tournament on a regular basis. At that point, getting high 4's and 5's should be easier.

Ok then we are saying the same thing. An easy inconference example is Tennessee. They didn’t get any high 4 or 5 star recruits until after Barnes had been there 4 seasons and win a conference championship.

Don’t care where he chose, but why have us in your final 2. If your not staying home, let the home school know.... I get going to UNC, despite the fact that they should have the death penalty with about 10 other schools. If you want to be chased by blue bloods though, then tell MIZ early if they put effort into u.

I don’t think Mizzou even has that. The lack of state pride across the board is alarming.
