If it's a tie game, I might risk it and let Baggett try the FG. If we're losing, I'd go for it.

Probably go for it 90% of the time.

Is Baggett on scholarship? I saw where Bama or one of the other big boys offered a kicker.

Smart move if a kid is nails...

Too many other factors. How've we been moving the ball? Who has momentum? How much time? Is it a long 1 or a short 1? Generally though I'd kick it. Also, he's actually better from that distance. I think he's 4/5 from beyond 40 yards. His numbers get progressively worse the closer you get. So just in a general sense, I'd kick it.

I'd run a screen to DGB. No way I put it in Baggets hands. The other option would be a simple spread with a QB run. Or line a tight end up in the backfield with Steward and run straight at them. But no to Bagget.

Bama has 2 kickers on scholarship. I've asked this question before.

CGP doesn't like to offer scholarships to kickers. They can try out as a walk-on, and if they're good enough to make it they might be offered a scholarship down the road. He's never recruited a kicker and offered a scholarship.

Its also has to do with how much times left in the fourth also.

Yeh, that has to be factored in. But thats why my first option is to DGB. Maybe a flanker screen to get out of bounds. Clock would stop long enough if converted to spike the ball. Then your options would be endzone for two more plays and depending on what your seeing out of the defense through the game, you would have to go into the endzone with a pass and or option run for the QB. But who's to say you don't gain 20 yrds. On the 4th and 1? Then the playbook is open.

There are many variables.
