Marcus Washington, Etinosa Reuben and CJ Boone are visiting osu this weekend. LINK they seem to think Washington is a lock and might commit today. Hopefully they are wrong.

Didn't expect to get him anyway. Most big-time players want a serious chance of playing for the National Championship. I would love to get Massey who I think is almost as good as Washington.

WR Target Charles Njoku just got upgraded to a 4* on Rivals. Supposedly we are in good shape with him. Visited not too long ago.

Is the fact that we only have 4 commits at this point a sign of what to expect out of this class? Instead of filling in holes, we have to fill an entire class.

Gabe had a story on this. Over the last 10 years Mizzou has averaged 6 recruits at the end of June.
July has generally been a month with 4-8 commits.

Any guesses as to who those 4-8 might be? I know it's a crap shoot but if you had to take a stab in the dark of the most likely.

Commitments in June, July, and August are worthless in my opinion. 18 yrs olds change their mind to often. Once football season starts that is when we need to pick up the recruiting and get some commitments.

Most elite players are going to wait to see if the team can win. Negative recruiting is what it is and these guys are getting an earful of "the staff won't be around to coach you". Win and recruiting will take care of itself.
