I think he is talking about Daron Davis, whom may not qualify academically.

The NCAA is totally out of control, what happens is the School pays a High School coach to be a scout, so long story short the High School coach gets two pay checks one from the School and one from the College he is scouting for.

Offered a couple days ago, Bobby Lawrence, an under-the-radar OL prospect from St. Joe, Missouri.

His stock has been rising. Was committed to Illinois St, but flipped to Iowa St. on 1/17.

The Nubs just offered him yesterday after losing out to Ole Miss for a Georgia OT.

OL Andrew Coker just de-committed from Florida. I have no idea what level of interest he has in us, but we have offered. Nebraska will probably offer tomorrow.

News out of Nebraska is not sounding good about Cam Taylor.

LINK

A sign of Nebraska’s building momentum with Taylor is the fact that Missouri’s coaches will no longer make an in-home visit with him this week and he will not take his scheduled official visit with the Tigers this weekend. Taylor is still set to announce his decision on National Signing Day, but will have his mind made up by the weekend.

Seems odd that he wouldn't take his official.

We'll see

Frost has been selling the Nubs and doing a good job. I really want Taylor for Mizzou, but they might just have their work cut out unless they "wow" him.

true. The only reason this class is ranked where it is is because of the number of signees. There are no 4 stars! after NSD we will drop as everyone else fills out their classes.

Rivals only ranks the top 20 recruits.

true.
247 has us at 39 with no 4 stars (second to last SEC) with arky probably moving us down to last since they will add a few on NSD.
Barry does not appear to be recruiting well. i hope he gets it together.

I’m not sure where you are getting the Rivals number from. This link has Mizzou ranked 34th.

I'm afraid that coaching up 3-stars isn't going to cut it in this league. I thought we'd be okay after winning the East twice, but I honestly didn't realize how fortunate the circumstances were for us then.

I agree. At least not with the upper echelon teams.

Worked just fine in 13...14 for that matter.

It's going to have to work. That's our path.

Different coaching staff in the east champ years. We cant really say BO is spotting gems and coaching up players. He can have some credit for Crockett but no one else yet (Albert O was Pinkel’s find before he retired).
