Come on Marvin Terry
+1. I would have thought the first guy Odom recruited as HC would be already in.

Just checking in...most commits have signed, it seems? We are still waiting for 2 stragglers? Apparently a fairly drama-free day with only a couple of kids making the wrong choice.

Losing Byrd to Wake was a surprise. Other than that, some drama but nothing exciting.

Is Marvin Terry signed an no one reporting it bc ESPN U since this morning has had Tre William as Mizzou's best signee but just changed it to Terry. Anyone else catch that?

Did Mizzou's interest in Jacobs scare off Byrd?

Welp, out class is ranked 50th. Dont think Terry is gonna move us much. I know almost yearly we're pretty far down, but I trusted coaches who had been in the game for 30+ years.

Possible, maybe he chose the school with the least competition. If that's true, we didn't need him anyway. The sideline is crowded with RB's with potential and no heart.

We knew this year would not be a top rated class. Entirely new coaching staff, plus the turmoil that surrounded this season. There wasn't much time to assemble the staff and recruit, especially during the dead period. And, it was a down year for local recruits. But, I think Odom has assembled a terrific coaching staff. And we should make a little more noise next year.

Agreed. I'm not going to complain about this recruiting class..... With one or two exceptions, it's pretty blah IMO.... Exactly what I expected...... Think Odie did as well as anyone could have hoped, all things considered.
What I am excited about, is the coaching staff.

And lets be honest, Pinkel and his staff weren't exactly "tearing up" the recruiting trail before he left. It took forever for the first commitment, and they didn't seem very aggressive on the DT/DE/QB offers.

Spot on again.
I also agree that with any kind a decent season. Recruiting in 2017, will be much better.
