I agree and am very OK with this. To critical of a position to leave to chance.

Ugh, we need some more action on the recruiting front. I'm tired of hearing about UT and their amazing classes when we've kicked their assets 2 years in a row, with a 3rd likely this year. Give me some 4* defense players!

We're gonna have to live with the 3 star players.

I'm confident in the coaching staff. Signing day is a ways off, but it will definitely be good to see the final results of what I expect will be an excellent class.

It's definitely a great start to the class. The number of commits have slowed down, but the ones that have committed, I'm excited about.

Missouri's in-state recruiting for the last 2 years looks like this:

2014
1. Arky
2. FSU
3. MIZZOU
4. Arky
5. MIZZOU
6. ASU
7. Nubs
8. Iowa
9. KState
10. KState

2015
1. Oregon
2. MIZZOU
3. Bama
4.
5. Nubs
6. Nubs
7. Wisc
8. MIZZOU
9. MIZZOU
10.

Just not good hit rates the last 2 years and on some pretty good talent. Not guys GP just passed on. I think nearly all of the top 10 were pursued to some degree.

What an odd choice. Later loser, definitely not a True Son.

What is going on with our recruiting over the past 2 months? Only commits have been a 2* OL and a kicker, the bottom seems to have dropped out.

Let's see what happens in the next 7 months. Jmac was an OU verbal who stayed home. If Maty Mauk lights it up this year AO might want to play with a QB that has experience compared to a new QB at Duckland.

Plus we are thin at WR after next year. Alot of playing time

They need something because the instate recruiting has gotten WORSE after joining the SEC.

Nothing we can do, kids would rather play for Snyder or Pelini. Heck kids are choosing to go lose at Arkansas instead of winning with us, this is going to get ugly.

Just don't understand it. I can't think of a single WR Oregon has put in the first round of the draft. Or the second. Or the third. Hopefully we put up another great season and it changes his mind. This one genuinely shocks me.

We were the 3rd winningest program next to USC and Oklahoma over a 7 year span, if that didn't catapult recruiting what will?

Drew Davis UDFA, Josh Huff 3rd round pick in 2014, Jeff Maehl UDFA, Will Murphy UDFA, and Rahsaan Vaughn UDFA. Great tradition of WR's there.

Who's their heir apparent at QB? Just doesn't make much sense at all. It must be the ugly arse uniforms.

Helfrich is going to cost that team at least 2 games a year despite the talent.

I don't think this season will matter with AO. He grew up around the program. He knows GP always has good QBs. It would be stupid of him and his dad if they didn't know that whoever we have at QB will be good. He was around the program a lot last season, which was magical, and it didn't effect him much.

Really, if a local recruit isn't on board with the program after last season, then screw him. There isn't anything else we can show him except becoming Bama and going to the NC every other year.
